No — VocabCartoons works on any device with an internet connection, including tablets, laptops, and smartphones.

What is VocabCartoons?

VocabCartoons is a story‑powered way for kids aged 8–16 to master English vocabulary using the FABLE Method.

Who is it for?

English learners and native speakers aged 8–16 who want to grow vocabulary in a fun, memorable way.

How is it different from other platforms?

It blends stories, games, and rewards to make words stick faster using context‑based learning and spaced repetition.

Missions & Content

What’s a mission?

A mission is a VocabCartoon — a short learning adventure that includes flashcards, a cartoon story, a quiz, and vocabulary games.

How often do new missions come out?

New missions are released every week for all paying members, so there’s always fresh content to explore.

  • For Solo and Family members, two missions are released weekly:
    • Wednesday at 7am.
    • Saturday at 7am(Episodic series episode).
  • For Premium Family members, three missions are released weekly:
    • Monday at 7am.
    • Wednesday at 7am.
    • Saturday at 7am(Episodic series episode).

All missions are automatically added to your child’s dashboard as they are released, based on your plan.

Please note: Your mission release schedule begins on the first Saturday after you join, ensuring a smooth weekly cycle from your start date.

What are Mission Paths?

Mission Paths are themed learning journeys, guiding your child through connected topics and words.

What is the Episodic Series?

Ongoing story episodes with cliffhangers to keep learners engaged while they meet and practise new words.

FABLE Method

What is the FABLE Method?
  • Flashcards – meet words with images and friendly definitions.
  • Animation – watch a cartoon fable using the words naturally.
  • Brain Quiz – test knowledge and earn coins.
  • Load Up – collect coins from quizzes and bonus points for sharing the lesson.
  • Enjoy & Explain – play games and talk about the story to lock in learning.

Games & Rewards

How do games work?

Children use coins earned from quizzes and discussions to unlock games that focus on words they need to review.

What are League Tables?

Friendly leaderboards where learners can see how they rank in missions and games. See how you rank against friends and classmates in a safe, child-friendly leaderboard.

Parent Tools

How can I track my child’s progress?

Parent Reports give clear updates on progress, quiz scores, and words mastered.

Will I receive updates?

Yes — you’ll receive a monthly email with tips, progress highlights, and the latest news.

Do children have their own accounts?

Once you’ve created a parent account, you’ll be able to add child profiles from your dashboard. Each child gets their own secure login (username and password), so they can dive straight in without needing an email address of their own.

Payments & Refunds

What is your refund policy?

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Once cancelled, your account will remain active for the time you’ve already paid for, and you won’t be charged for the following month or year.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Yes. You can upgrade your plan at any time — the change takes effect immediately and you’ll only pay the difference for the rest of your billing period. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
