Welcome to VocabCartoons.com. These Terms and Conditions of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, content, and services. By creating an account, purchasing a membership, or otherwise using our site, you agree to these Terms.

1. Membership and Accounts

VocabCartoons.com offers four membership plans:

• Free Plan
• Solo Plan (1 child account)
• Family Plan (up to 2 child accounts)
• Premium Family Plan (up to 4 child accounts)

Each paid membership provides access to specific content and features based on the plan selected.

• Child accounts must be created and managed by a parent or guardian.
• Memberships are non-transferable and must only be used within your household.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for any activity under your account.

2. Payments and Renewals

• Membership pricing is clearly stated and includes VAT where applicable.
• Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment providers.
• Plans renew monthly or annually, depending on the option you choose, unless cancelled.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.
• Refunds are offered only under specific circumstances (see Section 3).

3. Refunds and 14-Day Cancellation (Annual Plans)

In line with UK consumer law, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchasing an annual plan, if you have not accessed any premium content.

Premium content includes:

• Any episodes beyond Episode 1 of Time Larcenist™
• Missions beyond those included in the Free Plan
• Additional cartoon missions, WordQuest™ features, tracking tools, rewards, and unlocked paths

By accessing premium content, you provide your explicit consent to begin digital delivery and waive your right to cancel within the 14-day period.

At checkout, you must agree to:

No refunds are issued after the 14-day period unless required by law.

4. Plan Changes (Upgrades and Downgrades)

You may change your membership level at any time through your account dashboard:

• Upgrades (e.g. Solo to Family): Take effect immediately. You will be charged the price difference, either pro-rated for the current billing cycle or at full cost, depending on our system.
• Downgrades (e.g. Premium Family to Family): Take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You retain full access to your current plan until that time.

Changing plans does not reset or extend your current billing period. If you need help, contact info@vocabcartoons.com.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on VocabCartoons.com — including videos, missions, games, characters, artwork, and stories — is the intellectual property of VocabCartoons.com or its licensors.

• Content is protected by UK and international copyright and trademark laws.
• You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

6. Permitted Use

• Our content is for personal, non-commercial educational use within the purchasing household only.
• Sharing accounts outside your household is not permitted.
• Unauthorised use may result in suspension or termination of your membership.

7. Learning Features and Limits

Access varies by membership level:

• Free Plan includes: 4 missions, Episode 1 of Time Larcenist™, and a 5-video cap
• Solo Plan includes: Access to 5 learning paths, 2 cartoon missions per week, growing video library, WordQuest™, coins and rewards
• Family Plan includes all Solo features for up to 2 children
• Premium Family Plan includes all features for up to 4 children and 3 cartoon missions per week

8. Disclaimers

• VocabCartoons.com provides educational content designed for enrichment, but makes no guarantees about specific learning outcomes.
• Content is provided “as is” and may change over time.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

9. Limitation of Liability

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, VocabCartoons.com is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage.
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for your current membership term.

10. Termination

• We reserve the right to suspend or cancel accounts that violate these Terms.
• You may cancel your membership at any time via your account dashboard.

11. Changes to Terms

• We may update these Terms from time to time.
• Continued use of the service after updates means you accept the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

• These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
• Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
